What precautions should I know about prior to using Transderm-iQ?

Does Transderm-iQ have any side effects?


No - however in rare cases if the product is over-used Transderm-iQ may cause skin irritation or produce a topical rash. It is recommended that you test a small section of skin on your arm for sensitivity prior to more wide-spread use.

You can prevent over-application of Transderm-iQ by follow the proper dosing instructions provided by your physician.

Do I need a prescription to use Transderm-iQ?


While Transderm-iQ is considered an over the counter (OTC) medication, its active ingredients are strong and fast acting. In order to best ensure patient safety and the proper use/treatment of the product, Transderm-iQ can generally only be obtained through select physician's offices and pharmacies. In some cases a prescription may be required prior to purchase if you're obtaining Transderm-iQ through a 3rd-party pharmacy.

What kind of pain does Transderm-iQ help relieve?


Transderm-iQ helps to relieve various pain symptoms originating from the neck & back, ligaments, muscles, joints, nerves, spine, etc.

Transderm-iQ has also been found to be effective in relieving pain associated with conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, sciatica, carpal tunnel, bruises, general inflammation, etc.

Who can Transderm-iQ be used on?


Transderm-iQ can be used on children ages 12 and older under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Younger children's skin is generally much more sensitive than an adult's. It is recommended that you test the product on a small, designated area of the arm for sensitivity before application of a full dose.

Transderm-iQ should not be used on children younger than the age of 12. Keep Transderm-iQ in a safe & secure location that is away from reach of small children and infants.

Should I stop using other medications when using Transderm-iQ?


Do not use Transderm-iQ if you are taking anticoagulant medications (See Safety Information.) Other oral medications prescribed by your doctor should continue to be used, however, it is recommended that you consult your physician prior to use.

If my pain continues or worsens, what should I do?


Discontinue use of Transderm-iQ and talk with your physician as soon as possible to determine if continued treatment is recommended.
